Jon Cox

Jon graduated with a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall college. He was born and raised in State College, PA, where he played football for the Little Lions. He is also a former Victory Athlete of seven years. His senior year of high school Jon was awarded first team all conference honors as an Offensive Lineman and second team all-conference as a Defensive Lineman.  Jon was also a captain his senior year for State High. As a collegiate football player Jon was a three-year starter at Defensive Line, where he earned first team All-Conference honors, Defensive MVP, and was also a captain for his team. Shortly after his senior year of football, Jon was able to cut 30 pounds in a matter of months. Jon has always had a strong passion for sports and shortly after an internship on Capitol Hill he knew that he was being called back to the world of athletics. His father is a doctor and mother is a nutritionist so he has been surrounded by health and fitness all his life.  Football gave Jon a strong passion for leadership, counsel, and most importantly the weight room.  Jon is currently ACE certified as a Personal Trainer and is seeking his CSCS certification. Jon is also gaining experience by working with strength coaches from Penn State, Bucknell, and Bloomsburg. Jon’s aspiration is to be a collegiate strength and conditioning at the collegiate level, and while his background is in football, he has a strong passion to inspire and motivate anyone to achieve something they otherwise thought was impossible.
