My Story

Jackie is a former multi-sport athlete who excelled in the sciences. Having a love for people and science she obtained her degree as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Jackie worked in the field of Nuclear Medicine for a total of 12 years at various institutions including the Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania where she specialized in Nuclear Cardiology. Jackie moved to State College after she met and married her husband Rob, who was at the time an Assistant Strength Coach with the PSU football team. Feeling unfulfilled in the medical field and wanting to make more of an impact in peoples’ lives, Jackie became a personal trainer. Jackie is certified as a personal trainer through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and as a Sports Performance Coach through the United States Weightlifting Association. Jackie has trained a variety of clients for the past 10 years with various backgrounds and goals with much success. Jackie also teaches Silver Sneakers fitness classes and is a regular fitness presenter throughout the Centre Region. She enjoys healthy cooking, tennis, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
